The load

Fracture care is a volume business that behaves like an emergency.

The demand is steady and large. The timing is not. That gap is the entire reason a distributor exists, and it is the part that either holds or fails at 2 a.m.

What we do

Four jobs, and the order matters.

01

Case coverage

A consultant in the room for the case, on the schedule the surgeon actually keeps. Add-ons and call cases included, not treated as an exception.

  • Scheduled and add-on cases
  • Trauma call
  • Sizing and technique support
02

Inventory and logistics

Sets staged, counted and returned. The failure mode in this business is a short tray discovered after the patient is asleep.

  • Set staging and turns
  • Consignment management
  • Loaner coordination
Titanium fracture-fixation plates and cortical screws arranged on a sterile drape
03

In-service and education

Technique training for OR staff and residents, run on the unit rather than sent as a PDF.

  • Staff in-services
  • Resident technique sessions
  • New-system rollouts
04

Evaluation to conversion

Structured trials with the paperwork value analysis committees ask for, so a product decision does not stall in committee.

  • Trial coordination
  • VAC submission support
  • Pricing and contract packets

In the room

Surgeons keep asking for the rep to be there. The survey data says so.

The Orthopaedic Trauma Association surveyed its own membership on whether device representatives belong in the operating room. Most trauma surgeons said they need them there, and rated their own representatives favorably.

OTA active members completed the survey, a 33% response rate

The implant is the easy part. Being reachable, being counted and being in the room is the product.

Lines

The systems we represent.

MountainTop Medical is an independent distributor. We represent manufacturer partners across trauma, extremities, sports medicine and biologics, and we will tell you plainly when a case calls for something we do not carry.

  • Extremities

    02

Foot and ankle, upper extremity, deformity correction

Manufacturer roster pending

The partner grid renders here once MountainTop supplies the current signed distribution agreements. Each entry carries the manufacturer name and the category it sits under.

Build note: populate lines.partners in lib/content.ts. Listing a manufacturer that is not under contract is a legal exposure, so this stays empty until confirmed.

Territory

Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

A defined territory is not a limitation, it is the reason coverage is reliable. Our consultants are inside a drive of the rooms they cover.
